MEAT-FREE BISTRO BURGERS


Ingredients:

1 tbsp cooking oil
3 (200 g each) packs VEEGA MEAT-FREE BURGER PATTIES
1/4 cup store-bought BBQ sauce
6 pc burger buns
36 (180 g) pc frozen onion rings, cooked according to package directions
1/4 (12 g) cup alfalfa sprouts

Burger Sauce:

1/2 cup MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp pickle relish
1 tbsp yellow mustard

Blue Cheese Sauce:

1/3 cup MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE SPREAD MILKY WHITE
2 tbsp blue cheese

Procedure:

  1. Combine all burger sauce ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Combine all blue cheese sauce ingredients in another bowl. Set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and cook burgers 2 minutes per side. Dip in or brush with BBQ sauce and bring back to pan and cook for another minute per side. Top with a portion of blue cheese sauce.
  4. Toast burger buns in another pan for 1 minute or until lightly browned.
  5. Place bottom part of the burger bun in a plate and spread some burger sauce. Place patty, onion rings and alfalfa sprouts. Serve the top part of the bun on the side.

 

Makes 6 servings.

(Yield: 6 burgers/1 burger per serving)
