MARUYA WITH WANDAH CARAMEL SAUCE


Ingredients:

1-1/2 cups MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
2 (12.5 g each) pack WANDAH ALL AROUND CREAMEE MIX, mixed with 1/2 cup of water until smooth
2 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, beaten
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
5 pc saba bananas, sliced
1/2 cup cooking oil

Caramel Sauce:

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 (12.5 g) pack WANDAH ALL-ARROUND CREAMEE MIX, mixed with 1/4 cup water until smooth
1 tbsp STAR MARGARINE CLASSIC

Procedure:

  1. Mix together flour, cream, eggs, water, sugar and bananas.
  2. In a pan, fry 1/2 cup of banana mixture in oil per portion over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
  3. To make the caramel sauce, combine the sugar and water in a pan over medium heat. When syrup turns amber or light brown in color, add cream and margarine.
Makes 6 servings. (Yield: 6 pcs maruya; 1 cup of caramel sauce) TIPS: You may add 1/2 cup of sliced langka for more flavor.
