MAKIDOG WITH JAPANESE MAYO
|| rice vinegar
|| iodized fine salt
|| cooked rice
|| Japanese nori
|| PUREFOODS CHICKEN AND CHEESE HOTDOG, cooked and cooled
|| Japanese mayo
Makes 8 servings.
- Combine the sugar, vinegar, and salt into a bowl. Mix well until sugar has dissolved. Mix with rice.
- On a sushi mat with nori, line one cup of rice in the center.
- Place one hot dog on top of the rice. Roll the top of the mat over. Keep rolling until maki sushi if formed. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Before cutting, damp your knife with water so it won’t stick. Cut each roll into 8 slices. Top each with Japanese mayo.
Tip: You can also use PUREFOODS LUNCHEON MEAT
as a different version of maki. You can also put a layer of rice and vegetables to make colorful makidogs.
