KOREAN STYLE FRIED CHICKEN


Ingredients:

1 pack (1 kg) MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS FRIED CHICKEN, cooked according to package directions
1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish
1 bundle (8 g) green onions, chopped (1 tbsp)

Korean Sauce

3 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chilli paste)
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced (2 tsp)

Procedure:

  1. In a sauce pan, combine Korean sauce ingredients. Cook over low to medium heat. Let simmer until mixture thickens.
  2. In a large bowl, toss fried chicken in sauce until evenly coated. 
  3. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately.
Makes 6 servings.
(Yield: 6 pc chicken and 1 cup sauce/1 pc chicken per serving)
