EASY KOREAN BEEF STEW


Ingredients:

1 (600 g) pack COOK EXPRESS KOREAN BEEF STEW
1 (50 g) pc carrot, cubed
3 pc shiitake mushrooms, quartered
1 (40 g) stalk onion leek, white portion sliced and the green portion sliced sliced thinly lengthwise and submerged in iced water until curled
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Procedure:

  1. In a pot, pour frozen contents of beef stew and bring to simmer.
  2. Add carrot, mushrooms and white part of onion leeks. Simmer for about 8 to 10 minutes until heated through and carrot is tender.
  3. Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with curled leeks. Serve with kimchi and rice.

Makes 4 servings

(Yield: 2 cups/1/2 cup per serving)
