HONEY KETTLE FRIED CHICKEN


Ingredients:

1 pack (1 kg) MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS FRIED CHICKEN
4 cups cooking oil
1/3 cup honey

Batter:

1 cup MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK, chilled
1 tbsp vinegar
3/4 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp marjoram

Procedure:

  1. To make batter, combine milk and vinegar in a bowl. Set aside for 10 minutes until milk slightly thickens. Add the rest of the batter ingredients and mix until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, place breading and set aside.
  3. Dip chicken in batter and dredge in breading.
  4. Deep fry in hot oil for 8 minutes or until golden brown. 
  5. Drizzle chicken with honey just before serving.

Makes 7 servings.
(Yield: 7 pieces/1 piece per serving)
