HONEY GLAZED SPICY FRIED CHICKEN


Ingredients:

1 pack (550 g) MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS SPICY FRIED CHICKEN, cooked according to package directions
2 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tbsp water

Honey Glaze

1/2 cup (168 g) honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 pc (13 g) calamansi, juice squeezed (1/2 tbsp)
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
1 thumb (8 g) ginger, grated

Procedure:

1. In a pan, combine glaze ingredients and simmer over low heat for 3-5 minutes.
2. Add cornstarch mixture while stirring continuously until sauce thickens
3. Toss in chicken until well coated.

Makes 3 to 5 servings.
(Yield:3-5 pc chicken & 1/2 cup sauce/1 pc chicken & 1-1/2 to 2 tbsp sauce per serving)

Note/s:

  • To cook MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS READY-TO-COOK SPICY FRIED CHICKEN: Coat the thawed marinated chicken drumsticks with breading. Deep-fry in preheated cooking oil for 12 to 15 minutes or until cooked through.
