HONEY CHICKEN AND APPLES


Ingredients:

1 (6 pc) kg MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION THIGH FILLETS
2 (200 g) pc apples, cored and each sliced into 8
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 (150 g) pc large onion, sliced

Marinade

1/2 cup honey
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
1-1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1 (50 g) thumb ginger, grated

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, combine all marinade ingredients, and then add chicken. Mix then cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Heat pan with oil and sauté onion and apples for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, cook chicken for 4 minutes per side or until cooked through. Slice chicken before serving.
  4. Place apples and onion on a plate. Top with sliced chicken.

Makes 6 servings.

(Yield:  6 cups mixture/1 cup per serving)
