HEARTY CHICKEN AND CHORIZO SOUP


Ingredients:

3 cups chicken stock
1 can (150 g) PUREFOODS CHICKEN IN BROTH
2 pc (70 g) PUREFOODS CHORIZO BILBAO STYLE, sliced
1 pc (100 g) potato, cubed
1/2 cup (120 g) garbanzos, boiled
1 pc (50 g) bell pepper, sliced

Procedure:

  1. In a pot, simmer stock with chicken. Add chorizo, potato, and garbanzos. Cook for 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  2. Add bell pepper and cook for 2 minutes more.
Makes 4 servings.
(Yield: 4 cups/1 cup per serving)

Tip: Save lard from chorizo and add to soup to enhance flavor. Keep leftover chorizo wrapped in plastic and keep refrigerated
