HALLOWEEN DEVIL'S FOOD CAKE


Ingredients:

Cake

1 (550 g) pack MAGNOLIA DEVILS FOOD CAKE MIX
1 cup water
1/2 cup cooking oil
3 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS

Ganache Icing

1 (500 g) block bittersweet chocolate
1 cup MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM

Décor

1/2 cup chocolate cookie, crumbed
5 pc store-bought chocolate fingers
6 pc store-bought chocolate holloween toppers
1 cup chocolate crumbs

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Bake cake according to packaging direction.
  3. For the ganache icing: combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat. Cool down then refirgerate for 2 hours or until smooth and spreadable.
  4. Assembly: Frost the whole cake, cover with chocolate crumbs. Decorate with chocolate fingers with assorted hollowen décors.
