HAINANESE CHICKEN MAMI


Ingredients:

2 (8 cups) L water
1 (750 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHICKEN 3-WAY GINGER
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp patis
1 (8 oz) pack thin egg noodles (mami), cooked according to package directions
150 grams cabbage, chopped
1/4 (60 g) cup thin carrot strips
6 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, hardboiled and peeled
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup store bought toasted garlic

Procedure:

  1. Pour water in a cooking pot. Add chicken and simmer covered for 10 minutes until cooked.
  2. Season with garlic powder, pepper and patis and simmer for 5 minutes more.
  3. Arrange in bowls chicken, cooked noodles, cabbage, carrot strips, eggs, green onions and toasted garlic. Pour hot broth and serve.
