GOOEY CARAMEL POPCORN


Ingredients:

1 bar (200 g) DARI CREME CLASSIC
2/3 cup light syrup
1/4 cup water
1 tsp iodized fine salt
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 bag (100 g) microwavable popcorn, cooked according to package directions

Procedure:

  1. In a large wok, combine the first 6 ingredients. Boil until thick, about 5 to 8 minutes. Quickly stir in baking soda and mix well until frothy.
  2. Add cooked popcorn and mix until all popcorn pieces are coated with caramel.
  3. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Slightly level.
  4. Bake over low heat (100°F) just enough to dry popcorn. Mix occasionally to prevent it from burning. When done, remove from the oven and cool before serving.

Makes 4 servings.
