GISING GISING


Ingredients:

2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/4 cup chopped onion
100 grams MONTEREY GROUND PORK
2 tbsp shrimp paste (bagoong)
4 cups chopped kangkong stalks
1 tbsp fish sauce (patis)
1 cup coconut milk
iodized fine salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

1. Heat oil in a pan then sauté onion and garlic. Add ground pork and bagoong. Continue cooking until ground pork is cooked. 2. Stir in kangkong stalks and season with fish sauce. 3. Pour in coconut milk and bring to simmer. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat, and serve immediately. Makes 4 servings.
