FRIED SPRING ROLLS


Ingredients:

1/4 cup chopped white onions
1/4 cup MONTEREY GROUND PORK
2 tbsp chopped carrots
2 tbsp hydrated then chopped black fungus (tenga ng daga)
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar
1 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG
36 pc spring roll wrappers (lumpia wrappers)
40 grams vermicelli noodles (sotanghon), soaked in warm water
cooking oil for deep-frying

Procedure:

  1. Combine all filling ingredients except noodles and wrappers. Mix well.
  2. Place every teaspoonful of mixture in lumpia wrapper and put a small bunch of noodles. Roll and seal tight.
  3. Deep-fry until golden brown in color. Drain and serve.
Makes 36 pieces.
