Ingredients:
| 1 | pack (1 kg) | MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS FRIED CHICKEN, cooked according to package directions |
| 1 | bundle ( 8 g) | green onions, chopped (1 tbsp) |
| 2 | tbsp | STAR MARGARINE CLASSIC |
| 4 | cloves | garlic, crushed |
| 1 | slice (5 g) | ginger, grated (1 tsp) |
| 4 | tbsp | powdered orange juice, dissolved in 4 cups (1L) of water |
| 1 | tsp | iodized fine salt |
| 1 | tsp | pepper |
| 4 | tbsp | cornstarch, dissolved in 3 tbsp water |
Procedure:
1. In a saucepan, melt margarine.
2. Sauté garlic until slightly browned, and then add remaining ingredients, except cornstarch.
3. Cover and bring to boil. Lower heat and then simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Add cornstarch while stirring continuously until mixture thickens.
5. Serve with fried chicken.
Makes 6 servings.
(Yield: 1 cup sauce/1 pc chicken & 2 tbsp sauce per serving)
