DONUT DOGS


Ingredients:

5 pc hotdog buns, holes bored in the center
1 cup SKIPPY® CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER
1 cup chocolate ganache
5 pc PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY HOTDOG CHICK’N CHEESE, cooked according to package directions
1/2 cup candy sprinkles

Chocolate Ganache

1/2 cup MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM
1 (200 g) pack dark chocolate, chopped
1 tbsp corn syrup

Procedure:

  1. In a saucepan, prepare ganache by heating cream until scalding. Remove from heat and pour over chocolate placed in a heat proof bowl. Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes and then add corn syrup and mix well. Set aside.
  2. Fill buns with peanut butter and then with hotdog. Dip into chocolate ganache and then sprinkle with candies.
  3. Skewer donut dogs.

Makes 5 servings.

(Yield:  5 pc, 1-1/2 cups chocolate ganache/1 pc per serving)
