DATE BARS


Ingredients:

1 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 tsp BAKE BEST BAKING POWDER
2 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED, melted
1/4 cup glucose
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup (130 g) chopped walnuts

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 325℉. Grease and line an 8” square pan. Set aside.
  2. Combine and sift together flour and baking powder. Set aside.
  3. In another mixing bowl, beat eggs and add in sugar, glucose and melted butter. Mix until smooth. Add dates and nuts. Fold in dry ingredients then pour mixture onto prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

Makes 24 servings.
