Croquettes With Stuffing

Procedure:

1. Melt butter in a pan, sauté garlic and basil.
2. Whisk in flour, add in chicken stock and milk. Season with salt. Cool mixture. Set aside.
4. Get 1 spoonful of mixture then place 1 pc cream cheese and shape into a log.
5. Dust with flour, deep in egg white then bread crumbs. Repeat with remaining mixture.
6. Deep fry until golden brown.

In the Philippines, croquettes are usually made with mashed potatoes and chopped meat or fish.
