CRINKLE FUDGE ITALIAN STYLE TOTOS


Ingredients:

Cookie Dough

1 pack (1 kg) BAKE BEST CRINKLE MIX
1 tsp (2 g) all spice powder
1 tbsp (8 g) cinnamon powder
3 pc (560 g) medium oranges, get zest and extract juice (about 1 cup or 263 g)
1/2 cup (113 g) chopped candied orange (optional)

Glaze & Topping

6 cups (690 g) powdered sugar
2 pc (373 g) medium oranges, get zest and extract juice (about 3/4 cup or 197 g)
1/3 cup (35 g) chopped pistachio nuts

Procedure:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking trays with wax or parchment paper. Set aside.
2. In a bowl, combine crinkle mix, all spice and cinnamon powder. Mix thoroughly. Add orange juice, zest and candied orange. Mix until a smooth dough is formed.
3. Divide into 84 portions (about 15 grams each) and form into 1-inch balls. Place on baking trays 1.5 inches apart. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
4. To make glaze, combine powdered sugar and orange juice. Dip each crinkle until fully covered. Top with some pistachio nuts.
 
Makes 42 servings.
(Yield: 84 pc/2 pc per serving)

Tip/s:

  • Reheat glaze in microwave for 15-20 seconds once it starts to thicken or crystallize.
