Combine milk, sugar, eggs and dayap in a bowl. Mix until well blended. Strain mixture using a cheese cloth or fine mesh strainer. Pour into ramekins. Steam or bake in oven on a water bath (baine marie) for 2 hours or until done. Chill.
Before serving, sprinkle sugar over each flan and broil in an oven until sugar caramelizes and turns golden brown. Serve immediately.
