CREAMY BACON TOMATO CUPS


Ingredients:

1/4 (2 cups) kg cherry tomatoes
3/4 cup MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
1/2 cup grated MAGNOLIA CHEDDAR CHEESE
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 (200 g) pack PUREFOODS CLASSIC HONEYCURED BACON, fried and chopped
shredded cabbage, lettuce or parsley leaves for garnish

Procedure:

  1. Cut the top of each tomato. With a melon baller or sharp knife, carefully scoop out seeds and pulp. Place each tomato upside down on paper towels to drain.
  2. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
  3. Stuff each tomato with bacon mixture. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve on a dish with shredded cabbage or lettuce over parsley leaves to keep tomatoes from rolling around.
Makes 4 servings.
