CREAM CHEESE SHEET CAKE


Ingredients:

Cake

1 bar (225 g) MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED, melted
1 pack (225 g) MAGNOLIA CREAM CHEESE, softened
2-1/4 cups sugar
6 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
1 tsp vanilla extract
2-1/4 cups PRINCESS CAKE FLOUR

Frosting & Topping

1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
1/2 cup dark chocolate bar, chopped

Procedure:

Procedure:

1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a 13x16x1.5-inch sheet pan with parchment or baking paper. Set aside.
2. In a bowl, cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy, about 7 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
3. Add vanilla and flour and mix until well blended.
4. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely.
5. Meantime, prepare frosting by combining sugar and milk in a saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat, and then stir in butter and chocolate until melted. Cool slightly and spread over top of cake. Garnish with rainbow sprinkles. Cut into pieces before serving.
 
Makes 24 servings.
(Yield: 1 rectangular pan (24 slices)/ 1 pc per serving
