CRAB RANGOON


Ingredients:

1 (250 g) pack crab sticks, shredded
2 (160 g each) packs MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE, grated
2 tsp liquid seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
2 (60 g) stalks green onions, chopped
1 (75 g) pc carrot, grated
1 (198 g) can mushrooms pieces and stems, drained and chopped
40 pc wonton wrappers
1 L cooking oil, for frying
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, combine crab sticks, cheese, liquid seasoning, garlic powder, green onions, carrots and mushrooms.
  2. Place 1 tbsp filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Dab edges with water and fold two opposite corners together to form a triangle. Wet tips of the triangle and fold inward. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
  4. Deep fry wontons in hot oil for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. 5. Serve with sweet chili sauce.

Makes 6 servings.
(Yield: 18 wontons/3 pc per serving)
