CHICKEN INASAL SINIGANG


Ingredients:

1/4 cup cooking oil
2 pack (550 g each) MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS INASAL, thawed
1 pc (60 g) onion, sliced
2 pc (80 g) tomatoes, quartered
1 L (4 cups) water
2 tbsp (40 g) instant sinigang powder mix
1 pc (160 g) labanos (radish), sliced
1 bundle (130 g) mustasa leaves

Procedure:

  1. In a pot, heat oil and brown chicken. Set aside. In the same pan, sauté onion and tomatoes until almost tender. Add chicken inasal back.
  2. Add water and sinigang mix. Cover and bring to boil. Once boiling, lower down heat and simmer for 20 minutes until chicken is cooked through. Add labanos and cook until tender. Add mustasa leaves and turn off heat once bright green in color.

Makes 4 servings.
(Yield: 4 pc chicken and 4 cups soup/1 pc chicken and 1 cup soup)
