CHICKEN IN TOMATO - CREAM SAUCE


Ingredients:

1/2 kg MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION DRUMSTICKS
1/2 kg MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION THIGHS
2 tsp iodized fine salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 (100 g) pc white onion, sliced
1 (425 g) can whole button mushrooms, drained
2 tbsp DARI CREME CLASSIC
1 pc chicken bouillon cube, dissolved in 1 cup hot water
1 (200 g) pack tomato sauce
1 (250 ml) pack MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM

Procedure:

  1. Rub chicken with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. In a pan or wok, sauté onion and mushrooms in 1 tbsp margarine. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add remaining 1 tbsp margarine and add chicken. Fry until brown.
  4. Add chicken stock and tomato sauce. Simmer covered for 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.
  5. Add cream and onion-mushroom mixture. Simmer once. 

Makes 10 servings.
