CHICKEN DUMPLING SOUP


Ingredients:

1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
300 grams cooked egg noodles

Dumplings

1/2 kg MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION CHICKEN GINILING
3 tbsp MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE CREAM
1/4 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions

Poaching Liquid

2 cups water
1 pc onion, halved
1/4 cup leeks, cut into 1” pieces
1/4 cup ginger strips
iodized fine salt
pepper

Procedure:

  1. Place all dumpling ingredients in a food processor. Blend until mixture becomes smooth. Set aside. With a tablespoon, form oval dumplings with the chicken mixture.
  2. In a stock pot, add water, onion, leeks and ginger. Simmer then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook dumplings in the boiling stock for 3-5 minutes. Drain.
  4. Transfer on serving plates with a little poaching liquid. Drizzle with sesame oil. Serve with warm egg noodles on the side.
