CHICKEN BBQ WITH SPANISH RICE


Ingredients:

5 (1.2 kg) pc MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS BBQ
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 (50 g) pc onion, chopped
1 (50 g) pc green bell pepper, sliced
1 (50 g) pc red bell pepper, sliced
1 (200 g) pack tomato sauce
4 cups cooked rice
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Procedure:

  1. Heat oil in a hot pan then pan-fry chicken for 30 minutes or until meat is thoroughly cooked. Set aside.
  2. In the same pan, sauté onion, bell peppers, and tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add rice. Season with paprika, salt and pepper. Mix well. Top with chicken or serve on the side.     

Makes 5 servings.

Yield: 5 pc chicken & 5 cups rice mixture
