SPICY WINGS AND VEGGIES ON WARM PITA


Ingredients:

1/3 cup cooking oil
1 pack (550 g) MAGNOLIA CHICKEN TIMPLADOS SPICY WINGS
1 pack (125 g) plain yogurt
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice or calamansi juice
4 pc whole wheat pita bread
1 pc (100 g) cucumber, thinly sliced
1 head (80 g) red cabbage, thinly sliced

Procedure:

1. Heat oil in a pan or prepare griller.
2. Cook chicken for 8 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
3. Cool a bit and then shred chicken meat.
4. In a bowl, combine yogurt, garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate until use.
5. In a pan, heat pita bread for 2 minutes per side or until completely warm, and then slice in half.
6. Arrange some shredded chicken, cucumber, cabbage inside pita and drizzle or serve yogurt sauce on the side.

Makes 4 servings.
