CHICKEN BARBECUE THAI STYLE


Ingredients:

2 kg MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION LEG QUARTERS

Marinade:

1 tbsp minced garlic
3 tbsp grated ginger
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
1/4 cup chopped fresh mint leaves
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
1 pc chopped finger pepper (siling haba)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup patis
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp corn oil

Procedure:

  1.  Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Marinate chicken for at least one hour.
  2.  Grill over moderate heat until well done turning occasionally and brushing with marinade as needed.
Makes 8 to 10 servings. *For a leaner dish, you can opt to use 1 kg MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION CHICKEN BREAST FILLETS
