CHICKEN ARROZ ALA CUBANA


Ingredients:

1 tbsp achuete seeds
1/2 cup cooking oil
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped red and green bell peppers
1/2 cup diced potatoes
1/2 kg MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION GROUND CHICKEN
1/3 cup raisins
1/4 cup green peas
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp sugar
3 pc sliced saba bananas, fried
3 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, beaten and fried

Procedure:

  1. Combine achuete seeds and oil in a small saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat for 3-5 minutes. Strain out seeds.
  2. Sauté garlic and onions in achuete oil. Add bell peppers, potatoes and ground chicken. Add raisins, green peas, soy sauce, oyster sauce, pepper and sugar.
  3. Serve with fried bananas and eggs.
Makes 3 servings.
