CHERRY BROWNIES


Ingredients:

1 pack (1 kg) BAKE BEST BROWNIE MIX
4 pc (200 g) MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
1/4 cup (56 g) MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED, softened
1 bottle (280 g) Maraschino cherries, drained and chopped (reserve syrup)
1 cup (200 g) walnuts, chopped

Procedure:

1. Preheat oven to 190oC (375°F). Meanwhile, line two 8x8-inch square pan with wax or parchment paper.
2.Combine all ingredients, except half of walnuts, in a large bowl and stir until smooth.
3.Divide and spread mixture evenly into prepared pans. Top with remaining walnuts.
4.Bake for 20-22 minutes. Cool completely on rack before cutting.

Makes 24 pieces.
(Yield: 24 pc/1 pc per serving)

Tip/s:

  • Brush with light syrup to make the surface glossy.
