CHEEZEE SHEPHERD'S PIE


Ingredients:

1 pc onion, chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 kg MONTEREY GROUND BEEF
3 tbsp MAGNOLIA NUTRI-OIL PALM VEGETABLE OIL
1 tbsp chopped basil leaves
1 cup tomato sauce
2 tbsp liquid seasoning
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 (60 g) pc red bell pepper, sliced into small cubes
1 (198 g) can mushrooms pieces and stems, drained
1 (40 g) pc carrot, grated

Mashed Potato:

4 (400 g) pc potatoes, boiled, peeled and then mashed
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER SALTED
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE CREAM
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
1 tsp pepper
1 (165 g) pack MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE, grated

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven toaster to 350°F.
  2. In a pan, sauté onion, garlic, and ground beef in oil. Add basil leaves, tomato sauce, liquid seasoning, sugar, soy sauce, bell peppers, mushrooms, and carrot. Simmer for 10 minutes. Drain excess oil and transfer mixture to loaf pan or glass baking dish.
  3. Mash potatoes while hot and add butter and cream. Season with salt and pepper. Top over ground beef mixture. Add cheese on top and bake for 30 minutes.

Makes 5-6 servings
