CHEESY TACO PASTA


Ingredients:

3 tbsp DARI CREME CLASSIC
1 pc (50 g) onion, sliced thinly
pc (50 g) red bell pepper, diced
1/4 kg MONTEREY GROUND MEAT (beef or pork)
2 tbsp taco seasoning
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 pack (220 g) MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE SQUEEZE PIMIENTO
1 pack (160 g) MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE MILKY WHITE, cubed
1/4 kg macaroni, cooked according to package directions

Procedure:

1. In a pan, heat margarine and sauté onion and bell pepper.
2. Add ground beef and cook until beef changes color.
3. Add taco seasoning and tomato sauce. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add cheese spread.
4. Turn off heat and add cheese. Mix with cooked pasta and serve.
 
Makes 6 servings.
(Yield: 6 cups total /1 cup per serving)

Tip/s:

  • Add more cheese pimiento spread on top before serving.
  • Make own taco seasoning by combining 2 tsp smoked paprika, 2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp dried oregano, 1 tsp iodized fine salt, 1/4 tsp chili powder, pinch pepper 
  • Add crushed BBQ chips for added texture and flavor.
