CHEESY STAR KARE-KARE PATTY BALLS BY MADALICIOUS COOK OFF CHALLENGER MELDY NATIVIDAD


Ingredients:

2 cans (150 g each) STAR NUTRI-MEATS ULAM KARE-KARE
1 cup + 1 tbsp MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG
2 cups cooking oil
1-1/2 cups breadcrumbs
1 pc (100 g) carrot, grated
2 tbsp MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER SALTED
1 cup MAGNOLIA FRESH MILK
2 tbsp MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE SPREAD
1/2 pc (75 g) lemon, juice squeezed (2 tbsp)

Procedure:

1. In a bowl, combine kare-kare, flour, egg, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, and grated carrot. Mix well.
2. Form every 2 tbsp of mixture into balls and dredge in remaining breadcrumbs.
3. Deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
4. To make dipping sauce, melt butter in a saucepan and sprinkle flour while stirring until mixture becomes pasty. Add milk, while stirring, until mixture is well blended. Add cheese spread and lemon juice. Let simmer, stirring continuously, until sauce slightly thickens.
5. Serve with fried patty balls.

Makes 7 servings.
