CHEESY CHICKEN FRIES WITH KOREAN BUFFALO SAUCE


Ingredients:

1/2 kg (12 pc) MAGNOLIA CHEESY CHICKEN FINGERS
2 cups cooking oil
1 tbsp (9 g) toasted sesame seeds
1 bundle (10 g) green onion, chopped

Sauce:

2 tbsp DARI CREME BUTTERMILK
1/4 cup (76 g) Gojuchang sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, finely crushed
1 thumb (15 g) ginger, grated
2 tbsp rice wine
1 tbsp cane vinegar
1/4 cup water

Procedure:

  1. Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan and simmer until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
  2. Meantime, fry chicken in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
  3. Gently toss chicken fingers into sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onion just before serving.

Makes 4 servings.
