CHEESY BAKED FISH


Ingredients:

1 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 tsp iodized fine salt
1/2 kg lapu-lapu or tilapia fillets
1 cup cooking oil
1 cup MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
1/2 cup finely chopped capers
1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
1 tsp white pepper
1 cup grated MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE

Procedure:

  1. In a large glass bowl, mix together flour and salt. Dredge fish in flour mixture.
  2. Heat oil in a large nonstick pan and lightly fry fillets until golden brown.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, capers, bread crumbs and white pepper.
  4. Place cooked fish in a square oven proof baking dish and spread mayo mixture on top. Top with grated cheese and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese melts and is slightly brown.
Makes 4-5 servings.
