CHEESE OVERLOAD BAKED BANGUS


Ingredients:

1 (500-600 g) pc large unmarinated boneless daing na bangus
1 (160 g) pack MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE, grated
1 (5 g) stalk parsley, chopped (1 tbsp)
1 clove garlic, finely crushed

Spread:

1/4 cup MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
8 cloves garlic, finely crushed until almost pasty

Marinade:

3 (30 g) pc calamansi, juice squeezed (about 1 tbsp)
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Procedure:

  1. Line a rectangular ovenproof dish with baking paper or aluminum foil. Set aside. Meanwhile, combine marinade ingredients and rub all over bangus. Marinate for 30 minutes in the chiller.
  2. Combine mayonnaise and garlic. Spread evenly on bangus.
  3. Combine cheese, parsley and garlic, and then arrange on top of bangus. Close foil to cover.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven set to 300oF (150oC) for 10-15 minutes. Uncover and increase temperature to 350oF (170oC). Bake for another 15 minutes.

 

Makes 6 servings.
