CHAMPINONES AL AJILLO (3 MUSHROOMS IN GARLIC)


Ingredients:

1/2 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER SALTED
1 pc big garlic, crushed with skin on
2 pc siling labuyo, sliced
1 (400 g) can oyster mushrooms, drained (1 cup)
1 (400 g) can button mushrooms, drained (1 cup)
4 pc shiitake mushrooms, soaked in water for 15 minutes, drained, stems removed, then cut into 4
1 tbsp liquid seasoning
1/4 tsp iodized rock salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Garnish

8 slices French bread (1/4 inch thick)
1/4 cup chopped green onions

Procedure:

  1. In a 12-inch frying pan, put butter, garlic, labuyo and cook until garlic is brown. Add mushrooms, liquid seasoning, salt and pepper, and stir for 2 minutes.
  2. Arrange the French bread slices on a round serving platter.
  3. Scoop the mushroom mixture onto the center of the serving platter. Top with green onions.
Makes 4-6 servings.
