CARAMEL S'MORES SANDWICHES


Ingredients:

1 (200 g) pack LA PACITA GRAHAM CRACKERS
25 pc large marshmallows
1/2 cup chocolate chips

CARAMEL SAUCE:

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 (250 mL) pack MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE CREAM
1 tbsp STAR MARGARINE CLASSIC

Procedure:

  1. For the caramel sauce, combine sugar and water in a pan over medium heat. When syrup turns amber or light brown in color, add cream and margarine.
  2. Divide each piece of cracker into 3 pieces. Divide into 2 batches. Top the first batch with marshmallows and bake in an oven toaster for 2 minutes. Spread caramel sauce on the remaining biscuits.
  3. To assemble, sandwich the two pieces together. Serve hot.

Makes 25 servings. Tip: Keep marshmallows fresh by placing them in a container with a tight-fitting lid, or store in the freezer using a freezer-safe plastic bag.
