CANDY SPRINKLED CHOCO COOKIES


Ingredients:

2 cups MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
3/4 cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
3/4 cup BAKER'S BEST MARGARINE
1 cup sugar
2 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup assorted colored candies

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  3. Beat margarine at medium speed. Gradually add sugar while beating then add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, add vanilla.
  4. Fold in flour mixture with a spatula alternately with milk. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.
  5. Shape into 1" balls. Place on a cookie sheet with 2" space between balls. Place assorted candies on top. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes.
Makes 36 pieces.
