BUTTER CAKE



Ingredients:

1-1/2 cups PRINCESS CAKE FLOUR
1 tsp BAKE BEST BAKING POWDER
1 bar MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
1 cup sugar
4 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA PURE FRESH MILK

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line with baking/wax paper two loaf pans. Set aside.
  2. Combine flour and baking powder. Set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, salt and sugar until light in fluffy. Add eggs one at time.
  4. Add flour mixture alternately with milk.
  5. Pour batter mixture into prepared pans. Bake for 45 minutes.

Makes 16 slices.

(Yield 2 loaf pans/8 slices per pan)
