BURGER MUSUBI

Ingredients:

1 pack (1 kg) CHEF’S SELECTION CHORIZO HAMONADO PATTY, cooked according to package directions
5 cups (800 g) uncooked Japanese rice, cooked (10 cups)
3/4 cup musubi sauce
1 pack (225 g) MAGNOLIA CREAM CHEESE, cut into 10 slices
4 pc nori sheets, cut into 2x8 inch strips
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Musubi sauce

1/2 cup MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
1/4 cup store bought teriyaki sauce

Procedure:

  1. Combine musubi sauce
  2. Place 1/2 cup rice in a 3 inch ring mold. Unmold and repeat with the remaining rice. Set aside.
  3. To assemble, lay one nori strip and place patty in the center. Spread 1/2 tbsp musubi sauce. Top with rice and cream cheese. Spread another 1/2 tbsp musubi sauce. Top with another patty to form a sandwich.
  4. Fasten together ends of nori strips with some water. Top with sesame seeds. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Makes 10 servings.
(Yield: 10 pc / 1 pc per serving)
