BREAKFAST SAUSAGE MELT MUFFINS


Ingredients:

5 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGGS, beaten
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK
1/3 cup +1 tbsp cooking oil
5 pc CHEF’S SELECTION SAUSAGE PATTY
5 pc English muffins, warmed
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
5 pc sliced cheese
3 tbsp maple syrup

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, beat together eggs and milk. In a non-stick pan, heat 3 tbsp oil over medium heat. Pour about 1/8 cup (2 tbsp) of egg mixture and swirl pan so egg mixture covers pan surface. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until egg has set. Fold egg into two twice. Set aside. Repeat with remaining egg mixture.
  2. In the same pan, add 3 tbsp oil, and then pan-fry burger patties for 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil to keep it warm.
  3. To assemble, spread the bottom half of muffins with mayonnaise. Arrange sausage patty, cheese slice, then top with folded egg and drizzle some maple syrup. Close sandwiches with top half of the muffins.

Makes 5 servings

Yield: 5 sandwiches
