BREADED FISH FILLETS WITH EASY TARTAR SAUCE


Ingredients:

1/2 kg tilapia or dory fillets, skin removed
1/2 pc lemon, juiced
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
pinch pepper
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG, beaten
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup cooking oil

SAUCE:

1/2 cup MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
1 tbsp chopped sweet pickles
1 tbsp chopped white onions
1 tbsp chopped capers

Procedure:

  1. Marinate fish with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  2. Bread the fish with flour and cornstarch then dip in egg and dredge in breadcrumbs. Pan-fry until golden brown. Set aside on a plate with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  3. Combine mayonnaise with pickles, onions and capers.
  4. Serve fish with tartar sauce.
Makes 4 Servings.
