BOLOGNESE


Ingredients:

3 tbsp DARI CREME CLASSIC
1 pc (50 g) onion, sliced
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 pc (50 g) carrot, chopped
1/4 kg MONTEREY GROUND BEEF
1 can (200 g) whole button mushrooms, drained and chopped
1-2/3 cups (400 mL) tomato sauce
1/2 cup water or beef stock
1 tsp (1.8 g) Italian seasoning
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 kg spaghetti, cooked according to package directions
50 grams MAGNOLIA QUESO DE BOLA, grated (1/2 cup)

Procedure:

  1. Heat margarine in a sauce pan over medium heat.  Sauté onion, garlic and carrot. Add beef and cook until meat starts to brown.
  2. Add mushrooms and tomato sauce. Let simmer then gradually add water. Season with herbs, sugar, salt and pepper. Cook until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
  3. Top sauce on spaghetti noodles and sprinkle with cheese. 
Makes 6 servings.
(Yield : 4 cups sauce / 2/3 cup per serving)
