BEER MARINATED STEAKS


Ingredients:

1 (3 pc) kg MONTEREY T-BONE or PORTERHOUSE, 1/2 inch thick
1/2 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
2 (100 g) pc onions, sliced thinly

Marinade:

1 (330 mL) can SAN MIGUEL BEER LIGHT
1 head garlic, finely crushed
1 tbsp prepared mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tbsp iodized fine salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp dried rosemary

Procedure:

  1. Combine marinade ingredients and marinate beef for at least 2 hours or overnight in the chiller.
  2. In a pan, melt butter and pan-grill steaks to preferred doneness. Medium doneness is approximately 3 minutes per side. Set aside and keep warm.
  3. In the same pan, sauté onions until tender. Top on steaks before serving.
