BEEF TAPA SHAWARMA RICE


Ingredients:

1 pack (1 kg) COOK EXPRESS BEEF TAPA
1 tsp (1.8 g) cumin
2 heads (120 g) lettuce, shredded
4 pc (120 g) tomatoes, deseeded and sliced
1 pc (110 g) cucumber, deseeded and sliced
1 pc (80 g) onion, sliced

Turmeric Rice:

8 cups cooked rice, kept hot
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER SALTED
2 (14 g) tsp turmeric powder

Sauce:

1 (230 g) cup MAGNOLIA REAL MAYONNAISE
1/4 cup water
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 (0.15 g) tsp cumin
1/8 (0.62 g) tsp iodized fine salt
1/8 (0.25 g) tsp pepper

Procedure:

  1. To make turmeric rice, combine all ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Combine sauce ingredients in a bowl. Transfer to a squeeze bottle. Set aside.
  3. Heat tapa in a nonstick pan and add cumin.
  4. Arrange rice, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onion and tapa on a platter or in individual bowls. Drizzle sauce on tapa.

Makes 8 servings.
(Yield: 16 cups/2 cups per serving)
