BEEF LOAF SOPAS


Ingredients:

2 cans (150 g each) STAR BEEF LOAF
1/4 cup STAR MARGARINE GARLIC
1 pc (70 g) onion, chopped
1/4 kg elbow macaroni
1 pc (100 g) carrot, cut into 1 cm cubes
2 tbsp fish sauce (patis)
1/4 tsp pepper
6 cups water
100 grams cabbage, sliced
1 cup MAGNOLIA FULL CREAM MILK

Procedure:

1. Slice each beef loaf into 24 quarters (6 round slices and then cut into 4). Set aside.
2. In a pot, melt margarine and sauté onion, elbow macaroni and carrot. Season with patis, pepper, and then add water. Stir continuously until boiling. Cover and simmer until pasta is almost cooked, about 8 minutes.
3. Add cabbage, beef loaf and milk. Simmer for another 2 minutes. Serve hot.

 

Makes 10 servings.
(Yield: 10 cups/1 cup per serving)

 

Note/s:

·  Option to lightly fry beef loaf for added flavor and texture.
