BANANA CREPES


Ingredients:

1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED
1 cup creme de cacao
1/2 cup store-bought orange juice
2 pc bananas, halved lengthwise
6 pc crepes (search for BASIC CREPE in our recipe section)
6 scoops MAGNOLIA ICE CREAM CLASSIC CHOCOLATE
1/8 cup ground unsalted peanuts

Procedure:

  1. Melt the brown sugar over low heat. When half of the sugar has already melted, add the butter. Stir well.
  2. Pour in the creme de cacao and then the orange juice. Stir until slightly thick.
  3. Add the bananas and coat with the sauce without mashing the fruit. Set aside.
  4. To assemble, place a piece of crepe on a dessert plate. Place 1 scoop of chocolate ice cream on one lower side of crepe.
  5. Arrange 2 banana slices around one scoop of ice cream. Fold the crepe over then pour the sauce over the crepe. Sprinkle with the nuts.

Makes 6 servings.
