Mix margarine, cream, sugar, light syrup and coffee. Cook over low heat until mixture begins to thicken slightly. Remove from heat.
Spoon 2 tbsp of butterscotch sauce on a dessert plate. Arrange 6 slices of bananas on top of the sauce. Serve bananas with a tablespoon of chilled cream, drizzle 1 tbsp of the butterscotch sauce and top with nuts.
