BANANA BUTTERSCOTCH


Ingredients:

12 pc large lakatan bananas, peeled and sliced lengthwise
4 tsp finely chopped walnuts or peanuts
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE CREAM, chilled

Butterscotch sauce:

2 tbsp DARI CRÈME CLASSIC
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE CREAM
1/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp light syrup
1/2 tsp SAN MIG COFFEE ORIGINAL

Procedure:

  1. Mix margarine, cream, sugar, light syrup and coffee. Cook over low heat until mixture begins to thicken slightly. Remove from heat.
  2. Spoon 2 tbsp of butterscotch sauce on a dessert plate. Arrange 6 slices of bananas on top of the sauce. Serve bananas with a tablespoon of chilled cream, drizzle 1 tbsp of the butterscotch sauce and top with nuts.

Makes 4 servings.
